Vanguard Peak Turk

At an altitude of 1684 metres this is an excellent site (the schist country makes lots of these). The Turk is positioned on the edge of a 60 metre wide northwest facing ledge. The site receives plenty of sun and has amazing views looking up the Shotover to Branches Station. The peaks of Aspiring, Rob Roy and Tyndall are visible in the distance.
